Our nurses were invited to join the Kentucky Perinatal Association Maternal and Child Health Conference at St. Elizabeth Training and Education Center November 14. They enjoyed extensive conversations with colleagues from St. Elizabeth, Health Access Nurturing Development Services and Every Child Succeeds and with Dr. Toniea Reid, who presented on the state’s syphilis outbreak.
Pamela Bihl, who heads Care Net’s sexual health initiative, sought to learn how best to support mothers with opioid use disorder during pregnancy.
