Friends of Care Net filled Receptions Event Center in Erlanger to near capacity May 9 and left empowered with tools to defend life against any secular argument. Guest speaker Scott Klusendorf presented SLED, a mnemonic for remembering how to refute alleged differences between born and unborn humans in 60 seconds or less: Size, Level of development, Environment and degree of Dependency.
One guest validated the value of Scott’s message by writing this on her attendee card: “A co-worker, just when I was leaving work, told me she is pro-choice but agreed to have a conversation with me sometime soon. I have the words to share with her now!”
You still have time to share in the enthusiasm for life demonstrated by those who attended the banquet. Consider what your generosity can do to save the unborn and provide help and guidance to their parents; for example:
- $120 buys one crib, an incentive for completing all 20 Earn While You Learn lessons.
- $250 provides exhibit supplies for one college outreach event.
- $700 covers a pregnancy test, ultrasound scan by a qualified nurse and consultation by trained staff.
- $2,000 provides one month of online advertising to abortion-vulnerable women.
- $4,000 covers medical supplies for all three centers for one year.
