Care Net golfers filled the entire Aston Oaks Golf Club under perfect blue skies August 9 for our 12th Annual Golf “Fore” Fathers scramble. Proceeds from the event benefit our Fatherhood and other parenting programs.
New this year, the silent auction that had been open only to golfers made the leap to cyberspace, drawing bidders from across the region. Working with a company that facilitates online auctions, we were able to offer a wider variety of items including international and US travel as well as goods and services donated by local businesses. The auction ended with record proceeds for our parenting programs.
